The weather was excellent on this first day of the Lathalmnd open weekend. Anoher fine collection of vintage bus many not seeen before at Lathalmond. The guy at the gate lets us in at concession prices.

The Glasgow event is an anual show where the Lord Provost of Glasgow procession from George Square to Glasgow Green. The excellent preserved bus hs several on show. The heavy fumee from those buses was a reminder of how poluted Glasgow was in those days.

Our usual holiday at the Betacora Hotel in Tenerife. We took a 1hr 30min bus ride to Santa Cruz. Not realizing it was a Euro wide bank holiday and everywhere was closed. After a snack in the bus station wet took a ride on a tram. When we came back I took the oportunity to photograph a few buses

With West George Closed due to road works traffic was diverted along Killermont St and Down North Hanover street back along Geroge Square. This gave me the oppurtunity to photograph buses from a differeny postition

Taking advantage of my brothers 2 week holiday we went through to Stirling for a photo shoot. I stupidly put on a polariser filter which left the photos on the dark side

Another slendid day at the G V V T at Bridgeton. A few new additions this year and as well as the usual buses. This year I went on 2 vintage bus

The day before it rained all day and through the night. Brighter weather was forcast but it was still raining in the morning. We made our way through and there were quite lenthly hold ups due to road works and speed restictions which added about 30 to our time. We arrived at 11 O'Clock by which time the rain had stopped. We got of to a good start when the guy at the gate lets us in at concession prices saving us £3 each.

It was a nice sunny warm day and standing at my usual spot outside Buchanan Bus Station, photographing the the usual bus entering and leaving , I was presently surprised to see 2 old Glasgow Coperation buses drive past. It's not very often we see these wonderful buses driving past but I was just glad I was there at the right time

The first day here last year was a wash out. This year the weather was much better with no rain and even the sun made an apperance. A excellent day though there didn't seem to be as many buses on display though there were a few new vintage buses on show. I was hoping the 1928 Glasgow Coperation Leyland Titan would be on show but it was away at the back of the indoor part.

It rained all day t the Lathalmonds open bus musuem but it didn't dampen my enjoyment of a great day. Because of the weather some photos where usless but still managed to get quite a few but it still was a great day out.

It's Sunday 24 June 2007: Photos take at the Musuem of transport for the Start of the Glasgow Vintage Bus Rally. It rained heavily the whole day, as you can see from the photos. But it was nice to see all those old preserved bues

McKindless, not the best buses running some look best suited for the scrap yard. One thing these older buses do have though over the newer buses, is character. Ceased operating on the 19 February 2010
